Spinneret Wiping Tool

Ideal for wiping the spinnerets and dies in the fiber extrusion processes. They are ergonomically designed to wipe the spinneret clean of debris. The tool features movable brass blades that provide optimal access while minimizing the risk of damaging spinneret surfaces. A long, curved handle ensures operator safety by reducing the chance of contact with hot surfaces or molten polymer, and allows for effective, precise cleaning of the spinneret. There are various sizes and configurations of wiping tools designed to fit different types of spinnerets.

Two of the most common wiping tools are shown below. The DP-879A was specifically designed for fiber and filament spinnerets.  The DP-1038A was designed for the non-woven industry where the wider blade and longer handle is necessary when wiping spun-bond spinnerets.
